Website Improvements

As you may have noticed, the website has seen some big changes over the past year. First we added the online 'message the studio' feature which has proved very popular with our listeners. Then we introduced a whole new design for the website, making it look a whole lot better.

I've been thinking recently about some more improvements to the website, so over the next few weeks(and maybe months) I'l be making some new changes. We're going to add some new functionality to our electronic producer log system, which shows use to record which songs they play on the radio. The changes will allow us to place a list of the '5 most played songs' from the last week on the homepage, which will update itself automatically every week. So when you visit our homepage you'll be able to see which songs are the most popular with the Bay Radio Djs. Also, in the webplayer, where it displays the current and previous songs played, I'm planning on adding a 'like' button next to the songs so listeners can 'like' songs. Then on the homepage, aswell as a list of the 5 most played songs, there will be a list of the 5 most liked songs.

There may be more changes coming aswell, its all about making the webpage more interesting and interactive for the visitors. If you've any ideas or if there is anything in particular you'd like to see, post a comment below and we'll see what we can do.
